Last I saw he was on the Patriots . He was getting burn earlier in year. I was pretty close to this one and I called it the last couple years he was here . There was talent but attitude , work ethic and consistency was always the issue. Nothing changed . I was hoping the draft snub would scare him straight.

I remember the article where his mother talked about the meeting they had with Mario. She was cooking him meals and delivering them to him because he was too f… lazy to get his *** to the team cafeteria. She agreed to do it so he would be eating properly.
If that was my kid he would be scared straight. I can’t imagine Mario’s reaction and would have loved to have heard what he said in his head.

Outliers like J Smith aside, I’m not sure I’m paying big money to players out of high school other than elite linemen. This portal is going to be full of rising sophomores who got paid big as freshman.
