You find a recruit, develop him and then see him bail at the first opportunity. At least in 'soccer' teams have to pay the club for the privilege - what are you left with in College Football? A reputation as a developer?

That’s sort of what’s done in baseball when Japanese players are posted. Actually not a bad idea, but would end up in slew of legal challenges under our chaotic collegiate system.
