Agree with JZ here. I find it hard to believe we are completely inactive in the talent acquisition space in the run up to and opening of portal. It would be gross negligence by a staff with designs on high level competition year-over-year. But the silence does bring some anxiety. The challenge this year is balancing game prep and roster construction.

- Robert Woodyard to Miami
- Dallan Hayden to Memphis
- Wyatt Young to Ok St (crazy they’re seemingly gonna get all 3)
- Jamonta Waller to Arkansas
- Trey White to TTU
 
From pod that Gaby and Lake just put out:

- Take all reporting right now with a grain of salt. Staff being intentional about transfer news not leaking as they prep for game next week in order to minimize distractions.
- Sorsby is #1 QB target and interest is mutual. Texas Tech isn't biggest threat - LSU is.
- Leavitt more than likely winds up at Kentucky due to character concerns. Other top programs passing.
- Names at WR to monitor: Terrell Anderson (NC State), Omarion Miller (Colorado)
- Staff really high on Luka Gilbert. Could add a TE for depth/blocking purposes but won't be big game hunting at the position.
- No obvious options at C in portal just yet. Some talk Ryan Rodriguez gets another year and could be option to start there if that happens.
- Antonio O'Berry (Gardner Webb DE) potentially visiting this weekend. Ohio State also involved.
- Expecting Moten to come back. Still waiting on other names at DT to enter.
- Names at LB - Owen Chambliss (SDSU), Khmori House (UNC), Kobie McKinzie (Oklahoma).
- Nickel/Safety - Sharif Denson (UF), Omar Thornton (BC). Koi Perich will be expensive but obvious ties to Hetherman.
