Look to the Transfer Portal: Discussion thread

Agree with you. Pena probably the best he’s had tho. That OC is a run game guy all the way. Penn state should be solid this year tho. If Oregon and Ohio state take a step back they may be big ten front runners
If Penn State are the big ten front runners this year, something went seriously wrong in Eugene and Columbus

I believe it's because they're starting brand new QB's with little experience even though they have talent all around them. Penn State returns Allen, both RB's, and I think most of last year's squad.

Probably why they're seen as favorites at the moment

Ohio State is still favored to win the league.

Penn State and Oregon are almost tied for 2nd best odds.

Michigan is the only other team better than 30/1, and they are NOT winning the league.

Taint, Ped St, or Oregon will win the B1G this year.

I stand corrected then on being the favorite, although I think this is Penn State's best shot with both teams breaking in new QB's.

I wonder if their administration would ever get frustrated with Franklin or are they comfortable with not winning their conference or the title, but being top 10 year over year and sold out stadiums is good enough for them?

Nope pena won't be.

He had Keandre Lambert Smith, Harrison wallace

But pena fits there. Maybe they were the ones who back channeled him in

Ohio State broke in New QB last year it doesn't matter when u have that receiving core.

Also their RB room is still choic full of talent.

I think on d they lost a good bit

I just think OSU lost to much on top of to many coaching changes, both coordinators. Their is also a huge difference in a new vet QB who started 28 P4 games taking over and going to a QB who hasn't started a college game. PSU may be the favorite, but I am not big on them either. I will go with my darkhorse, Illinois. Sounds crazy to me, also. I never thought much of him as a coach, but Bielemma is killing it for that place.

Bro Emory Williams would look good throwing lob balls to JJ Smith and company.

They are also gonna run all over the big 10 with CJ Donaldosn.

OSU STILL IS THE FAVORITE IN THE big 10

New phone who this?

Believe they are referring to Keionte Scott.

Since the jump of his portal recruitment, Miami has been the school to watch for Keionte Scott. Now the Hurricanes are trending to land the former Auburn and Houston transfer. Scott played for Zac Etheridge at Auburn and planned to play for him at Houston. Etheridge is in his first year as the cornerbacks coach at Miami.

Thanks. That would be our nickelback right? Would be nice overhaul of secondary. Best on the outside corners, some concerns about Jakobe in coverage at safety, but all in all worlds better than last year. If Scott is going to be the primary nickel I wonder what we're going to do rotation wise? Lucas/OJ/O'Connor should be top 3 outside corners IMO. I wonder if they plan to try Brantley at nickel in obvious passing downs?
