Look at this schedule and tell me why we can't make a run in 26'

Mario need to close the deal on a QB first. If we can't close on Menseh, and we trot Emory out there, our ceiling is 7-5.
Honestly, I think you gotta trot out Dereon or Luke, although the buzz is that Luke throws a bunch of INT's in practice which is why he wasn't really getting too much play this year even in blowouts. I know Dereon is small, but he has arm talent and barely threw any INT's playing FL elite talent. If we don't get Mensah, you grab some lower level QB with potential and everyone battle it out in the Spring.

But, I'm pretty sure Mensah is all wrapped up, so there's that.

We have two tough tests and both are on the road: Clemson and ND. If we got 1-1 in those games, I don't see why we wouldn't make the playoffs and as you guys saw this year - once you're in, anything can happen. Mensah me and let's ride!
I can see Stanford becoming a destination. Would Luck sign up otherwise?
Those alumns have serious coin and IF Silicon Valley decides to throw coin at it like Cuban, watch out.

I think we get a pretty easy open...ND is already scheduled for Nov 7, Clemson opens with LSU and FSU has Bama week two. We probably don't get one of those "Big" games until at least week 3 or 4. Should get some games under our belts.

The problem with that schedule is no room for error. I don't want to be going to Notre Dame in a must win after dropping a game to a basketball school again.

Clemson is going to take another step backwards. We ******

No reason why we shouldn’t be right back in the playoffs

Biggest challenge is going to be having the same production and effect in front 7 on D and similar OL production

Given we’re losing the guys who set the culture/tone, have top tier NFL talent, and had a ton of starts/experience at the college level - Bain, Mesidor, Maigoua, Cooper, maybe Moten and Bell, Toure, Wes B, Brockermeyer

any of the conference road games are potential losses. Even teams we’re dismissing right now like UNC and Stanford

Think we’ll still be very good. Probably no worse than 10-3 next year, potential to be better. Going to be challenging to replace some of these great individuals we’ll be losing, hopefully th locker room culture develops more like them.

Bc our roster isn’t finalized and neither is anybody else’s. We have to replace game changers on both sides of the line of scrimmage and secondary.

Next years team will absolutely be really good, but nobody knows what’s gonna happen.

Every year you start back at square one but if you look at the talent level across the roster now compared to 4 years ago, future should continue to be bright
