One Miami staff member said it became obvious back in 2016 the Hurricanes had to find a difference-maker at quarterback, but the offensive staff scoffed each time it was mentioned.

Very scary and telling. Not to beat a dead horse.
Thats hard to believe without names!

Perry and Williams were both very highly rated. Perry just doesn't have it in his head IMO though he has the physical ability to be great. Williams I think will be great he just wasnt given a chance.

Not to beat a dead horse but to beat a dead horse.
This board just can’t help but **** on graves and look for the next thing to kill.

If you had read the two articles by ESPN, the first article mentioned that the Miami fan base was very vocal - and ruthless.

In the second article - it mentioned that when Richt was hired - the planes stayed in the hangars.

Don't tell me that the banners and hard talk didn't get to Golden - or the Administration - and the fact that we were discussing flying banners at each and every game in 2019 didn't get around to the AD, the BOT, the Administration - and to Richt himself.

We're not looking for the next thing to kill - but we're saying - enough of this BS - and if we're going to do it - someone write some checks and let's do it right.
