Personally, I hope Manning shows something and they do run off Malik Murphy directly into an NIL paid for by John Ruiz's sale of 3 boats and a duplex.
I can honestly see this playing out in some way similar.My dream scenario might come true! To recap:
1) Ewers starts the year up and down and goes 3-2/3-3 and there are talks about Arch.
2) Ewers gets benched and Arch plays decent, Texas wins a couple games and they end up 8-4 or something
3) next spring there's an "open competition" and Arch wins it.
4) Ewers transfers and Murphy transfers as well.
5) Arch starts 24 season, struggles. Texas goes 7-5 and disappoints.
6) Sark fired
Arch was essentially promised the starting job after Ewers departure, and it is (likely) anticipated Malik leaves after this year.
Ewers won’t transfer unless absolutely necessary; he’s already used his transfer. More importantly, he looked good last year.I can honestly see this playing out in some way similar.
Depends.Malik Murphy is the goods and Steve knows this. Manning will get a chance but I think Manning will Hit the Portal.
Ewers = Cane lock
Murphy = Cane lock
QB1 Emory, QB2 Ewers, QB3 Murphy

Depends.
If Ewers returns in 2024, Malik is gone
If Ewers leaves for the NFL, it basically has been said that the job thereafter would be Arch’s. Plans can change, but Malik was not part of their long term plans.
Of course. Let’s say Quinn goes down with an injury in Game 1, and Malik leads them to a 14-1 record. At that point it would be very unlikely that he would be allowed to leave; Texas would put a very competitive NIL package.I DO understand that.
I wasn't in my wife's long range plans either.
Been together for decades now - things change. That's the one constant in the universe.
(I think I'm starting to grow on her)
After 24 years, I’m still not in my wife’s long range plans….she just can’t find the escape hatchI DO understand that.
