Texan Chode's complaints aside, there were many that thought had Arch's last name not been Manning he would not have been ranked in the Top 2-3 QBs in the country. Not saying he was a JAG, no, he was very good, but his bloodline gave him a bit of a ranking boost.

I told you guys when he signed that he wasn't worth anywhere near the #1 recruit.

He played against crap competition in HS and Newman HS where he played at just has better players than their competition has.

A lot of what he did was running. His arm is not that strong and his receivers helped him ALOT.

When you have a QB like Ewers you typically would want to hear that your #1 recruit in the nation QB is pushing and at least splitting reps with the 1s and forcing coaches hands to do a 2QB system. Not saying he’s a bust but he might need a lot more time to adjust.
