find it refreshing that he actually coached young kids and taught fundamentals instead of just inheriting good high school athletes and won on natural ability alone
 
This is what I love most about Rumph.

You are talking about a former 1st round NFL draft pick that wants to coach so bad that he is willing to put his ego and pride aside and coach pop warner. This dude WANTS IT.

Most on this board won't understand what I mean in today's entitlement crowd.

It's hard for anyone to go out and say that he used his accolades as leverage for any of his jobs in terms of jumping through loops...Really nice seeing how he literally started from the bottom....I mean...wasn't Pee Wee...but still the bottom lol
 
I like that he started with nobody even knowing who he was. I also like that he took talent and lead it to championship. Golden had no idea what to do with talent. He thought only hard work mattered. Mike being on the staff is a good thing. If new/old defense is going to work, we need CBs who can handle the pressure. Let's hope Mike remembers how to defend bubble screens cause I am tired of seeing them -- on both sides.
