LOL Jameis

Actually a lot of them were accurately thrown except for slants which is usually timming.

Like I said the Saints and Texans games he played good.

you missed what i said about the touch passes. he puts too much heat on some of his balls. and if you think his play has been good i don't know what to tell ya.

I'll stand by my statement. He has played good for a rookie. He has shown promise and made mistakes but has also shown the want to excell and disire to become better. If Bucks give him a better online he can reach his potential. It doesn't matter if you have two good we if you barely get a half second to make a read

i keep hearing this olline talk. might be a coachihng issue because they've invested plenty of money and draft picks to correct it. and yes having two probowl wrs helps. today he missed wide open guys for tds. missed jackson more than once. doesn't even seem like he looks to throw it to evans sometimes. winston had glaring issues in college that people overlooked bc of the heisman. people hate being wrong about crowing someone. especially when that guy is the qb of your team.

Yeah they invested into the line but it has not worked out. Like in this game smithy got beat of the edge quiet a bit. And what wide open guys did he miss for tds? The only wide open guy you could say was wide open was Jackson when the db ****ed up but Winston didn't even have to throw because there was already a guy in his face. And yes ppl hate being wrong and ppl also love to right someone off because they may hate that guy.

I'm giving Winston time. I'm not a moron and writing him off after a few games. Just like I thought it was moronic when ppl said Luck was the bust after a 20pick year or crowned Kap after that sb run.

i don't remember anyone calling luck a bust. he had a monster rookie year and broke records so he already proved he could play at this level. and kep is another RG3 like guy. above average athlete but below average qb. doesn't work in the NFL. I"m judging winston based off of prostyle rookies. and latley there haven't been many that have turned it around after their first year. now days the game is refereed to help the offense. along with many guys coming in with more knowledge of the game. i think alex smith was the last pro style qb to come in shaky and then have success later down the line. and even he is seen as mediocre

But where's our starting NFL Qb?

Stfu

So you are mad that the piece of garbage rapist is proving to be horrible? Just curious, but why wouldn't you take absolute pleasure in this?

Because that's the only thing our fans can say "oh well they're NFL busts" yet we've lost to them 5 times in a row. I find pleasure in winning on game day not waiting til a few of their players fail. That's like getting beat up by someone all the time then celebrating when someone does to them what you can't do! No man should take pleasure in that!!!!!

So canes fans who are Tampa bay fans also should root against their team now?

Man it's too early to call the kid a bust Manning, Smith and Luck struggled their first years. Look at last year Bortles and he's doing better this year. Manning had like 28 picks, Luck had like 20. He was a pic machine for his first two years and Smith was garbage for about 7 years. It takes time. It would be cool for a rookie to come in and not turn the ball over but that's unrealistic. Winston has played like a rookie. But hasn't been close to a bust. Hey I'm a Raiders fan. I know busts(although I never wanted Russell, I wanted Megatron). Anyway so many was struggled then improved. How long has it taken Stafford? Drew Brees took a couple of years. Winston isn't doing anything different from past rookies.

lol manning, luck, and smith weren't garbage their last year in college either. jameis had a horrible junior season efficiency wise. his team kept him in almost every game. i remember the media gave him credit for the win against us bc he had a great second half. that **** threw one td that was off a deflection and they want to crown him for that. luck did not have 20 ints his first year and set a rookie record for passing yds. and if you read my comment i said that smith was the last pro style guy that turned his career around and he was drafted 10 years ago. the NFL is different now. you can tell earlier on who's gonna be successful for the most part. and i never said he was a bust but idk people are acting like they would be any bit surprised if he was. The guy had one great year in college and one bad year. who's to say which was more representative of who the guy is on the field. we already know what kind of jack *** he is off the field which also doesn't typically bode well for qbs.

No they didn't throw a lot of pics their final years. Maybe he should have came back. That's neither here nor there, he isn't doing any worse than they were at this point in their careers. He threw plenty of pics his final year but he also threw a lot of yards and had a high completion percentage. I have seen players where they just totally look overwhelmed but he hasn't been one. He's been inconsistent as every decent rookie qb. Man it's too early to call anyone bust. Eli, Marino, Elway, Bradshaw etc. all struggled during their rookie years. And Marino threw way more pics in college than Jameis. My point is no matter how times has change, a rookie will be a rookie. He has issues but he also has promise. They guy is a rookie on the worst team in the NFL last year. He is just one piece to their puzzle.

And back forget about final season of college. Winston has already surpassed the performance of Eli and A. Smith as NFL qbs. However both are now successful qbs. It takes time.

Ohhh now it comes out... How was he a jackass off the field? Besides if course the rape allegation which if true he should be punished but besides that what has he done to make him a jackass? Got on the table?? Eh immature **** any 20yr old would do. The stolen crabs? He said it was a gift and knowing Tallahassee that **** sounds like it was a gift. By all accounts Winston has been a great employee since he was drafted. He has shown to be a leader and the will to be great. The worst thing he has done since being a Buc was post a pic on Twitter about Montana and Rice to Evans and saying let's be great.

I think ppl find anything to dislike him. Like when he was taken a picture without his shirt and ppl cried because he didn't have a 6 pack.

Winston has a great head on his shoulder and I'm confident he will do what it takes to be great

Winston carried the Noles for many a game. Think of last years UF game. Problem was that they were in that huge hole because he threw 3 first quarter picks. NFL teams can't recover from that.

A caretaker QB will stay in the league for 20 years. But you can't cost your team games.

how has he been a great leader or great employee. just by not getting into trouble? he deserves recognition for not being a dumb a**? by throwing more ints than tds? by his infamous stupid sounding lockerroom speeches? i don't care about that 20 yd kid bs. you hold your qb to a higher standard bc he is the face of your team. and if you've actually been part of a fb team you know the few things he got caught doing probably means there's been plenty other things he's done that he hasn't been caught for. there were even accounts of Winston getting into trouble in high school and something along the lines of being an embarassment to the community. you left out the bb gun thing too. i know you're a bucs fan as i am, but i find it odd you're this adamant about defending winston. the guy has taken some heat over the years for his behavior but has pretty much gone unpunished and well protected by the admin around him. they same could be said for his on the field abilities. are you really gonna argue that he wasn't bad his junior year? so why so confident in him

Well, 1st he hasn't gotten into trouble, yeah that's a sign of being a great employer if there everyone believes you are trouble. There are video of teammates recording him on his off time studying the playbook all that shows he's been a great employee. Has he made mistakes? The guy is 20. You can say oh but he's a qb,, blah blah blah the dude is still 20 and 99%of 20year old are immature. Would it be nice if he was tebow of the field? Probably but since he's been with the bucs he's been a great emoloyee, teammate, and leader. You can keep harping about what he did at fsu but right now he is a true grown man and has a real job. He's shown that he's grown as a person. Like I said he's been a great employee and has done everything he's ask to be a great employee. If he's ****ed up the Tampa media would've been all over it. Just like long before Freeman and Schiano collided the Tampa media reported that Freeman would arrive late to his camps.

And to quote you" if you've actually been part of a fb team you know the few things he got caught doing probably means there's been plenty other things he's done that he hasn't been caught for" same goes for the positives.

I defend him and any other players who other grown man try and put down because of things they did as when they were young. Like I said dude was immature. You can say all that bull**** about being a qb but he was still a 17-20 year old kid. You can even say" oh but he's old enough to go to war... Blah blah blah" not the same. He's not at war, he's a college kid and not forced to grow up.

Jameis Winston is now a professional let him be a grown man. He knows he is no longer a kid. He's ****ed up like a lot of us did when we didn't really have any responsibilty. And like a lot of us we matured when we got out of college or started a career and had depend on our own.

And once again by all accounts he's been a true professional and a great teammate and leader.

But gun slingers win rings man. Farve, Manning, Big Ben, Eli, Flacco, Drew Bree's. Unless you're Brady or Rogers who both go deep but rarely throw pics you're replaceable. Alex Smith, Elvis Grbac and any other conservative short passing qb attempt will not do it for you. They don't throw pics but they don't drive you down the field either. If the team puts the offense on you then you have to take chances and make plays. And outside of Greene no other wideout on FSU consistently got separation last year which is their problem this year.
