I get it that we just hired a guy who got fired, but at least our guy has had some success. Muschamp was a horrible failure, and someone in the same division is going to give him another shot.

no joke, this is a terrible hire. Just terrible. The SEC is slowly deteriorating into a meh conference......and look which Division is quickly assembling elite coaches now (oh my).

If you're Butch and you see South Carolina hire Muscrap, you call up your makeup artist and videographer and put together another video full of dramatically timed close ups and pullbacks stating that you are no longer a candidate to be a HC anywhere in the world.

All the other so called big jobs have laid eggs in their coaching hires. Miami fans should be ecstatic with our hire. VT and UCF also did pretty good jobs. USCw, USCe, and UGA punted.

They could have gotten someone a little better but they lucked out in getting the old ball coach 10 years ago. The SEC hype machine tells people these jobs are all great but the fact is USCe is nothing.

I actually thought Will Muschamp was always going to be the next HC there after Spurrier left. I didn't think it would be this season, but I expected him to get another shot at being HC, and I thought it would be there.

If he can get his OC hire right, he can compete in the SEC East. I know he never got it figured out at Florida, but I assume he'll be a better HC this time around.

... Time will tell.

what makes you think after one year he is ready this time? I would take Kiffen over him if i was chosing coaches that got fired recently. Pretty sure they have deep pockets i think i would be going after some big names or try to steal current coaches in college.
