@Paranos may be on to something here.

@DMoney in the 9/29 Bank

The name to monitor is Pitt commit Logan Nagle (North Jersey/NYC Metro). The staff absolutely loved him, and he aced the in-person evaluation. I expect Miami to push hard here. He is big (6'5, 270) and plays like an animal.

Looks like he wins with sheer size, the swim move. Chop cross on the first clip shows he can learn some technique. Bend or speed doesn’t look anything special but 6’5 260 can play if he learns to set the edge.

How many dt are we taking? Thus 5?

Good film
Hopefully. Blay gone, Moten could be gone. Jones, Newton, and Russell haven't done anything. Obviously I'd expect progress from those guys, as they are young. But you can't RELY on just them for depth. Only Scott is in line for heavy snaps next yr. I think it's reasonable to expect Simpson to be rotational. But we need another top portal DT, and to start building a lot of depth. Take 5 and expect within a year you'll have some attrition. Let the best survive. In 27 we need to take another 3-4...

100% agree.

Scott+Simpson have flashed the most. Need at least 1 portal similar to Blay but I'd prefer 2 for quality depth.

Russell, Jones, Newton are still works. The 4-5 DTs coming in should really help us on the development side. Who knows, maybe is a quick plug in for 2 deep as well.

I believe Moten has already on record saying he was going to leave. I'd rank what we have returning down below.

1-Scott
2-Simpson
3-Russell
4-Jones

Blount - Cheetah
Lowe - Cheetah

Like the Kennedy and Sainteus pickups. Not sure about Bacon. I'd like to add this kid. Especially if Pitt is involved. They do a good job with their evaluations.

While I agree with taking this kid and loading up inside, we will 100% portal a couple kids. And looking at our formations we will take a kid like this and play in in and outside. The part I don’t agree with is Russell has shown some flashes in games. More than I thought I’d see. Newton is shirting. And idk about Jones. But I like the loading up approach inside.

That would be a dumb move unless he's 3rd round or better
