locksley at maryland fired ...

Depends if you give him or Gattis credit for that Alabama offense… or if you give neither credit and consider that team to have Nick Saban-led organization and better players than pretty much everyone…

Locksley had Gattis on his Maryland staff and I believe he fired him.
I would say Bama's success during Locksley's stint at Alabama had more to do with the
talent at hand and Saban's organization.
Again, Locksley is a solid assistant coach and very good recruiter but I don't see elite play-caller.

Agree completely. Being facetious in my presentation as to how the notion that he was an great play caller probably came to relevance among Cane fans.

I think a lot of that rose up in this fanbase and site out of a hive mind following the disaster that was Gattis and seeking an answer as to why the perception of the resume and talent had been so wrong; rationalizing the failure of Gattis came with the anointing of Locksley.

People soo obsessed with that dam Bama offense, we gonna hire every coach off that staff to see who had the juice, Dan Enos, Gattis and now they all want to suck up this guy.. We deserve Gattis/Enos hybrid offense again.. We havent learned lol

Funny story (sort of)....When Locksley returned to coach at UofMaryland under Randy Edsell, a coworker shared
that he used to live nearby the Locksleys during the Friedgen era and that Locksley's wife was hot.
My buddy coached one of the Locksley boys in several sports as his son was in the same age group.
He told me during his coaching stints he conjured reasons to have to talk to Ms. Locksley about her
kid's progress just to chat with her.
I thought this was odd and I was surprised my boy was like that.
Fast forward a few years later, I'm driving around Miami listening to sports talk and I hear Channing Crowder
talk about becoming close to coaches and their families during their college days and, out of nowhere, he mentions
Locksley's wife and how him and his teammates would look to find any excuse to visit Mrs. Locksley because she was, according
to Crowder, hot.
I had to call my buddy and we had a good laugh.
I know, cool story bro.

Enos and Locksley are perfect examples of the Saban Rehabilitation Program.

Give me a crayon, a napkin and the 2018 skill position personnel at Alabama and I’d look like Sean McVay.
