They are going to try and neutralize Fletcher, Mali and the Oline. But we need Barkate and Upshaw-Jacobs-Wingo-Spafford to beat man on man coverage.

If we do that, even if the weather isn’t great we should handle this team by double digits

It’s all on the offensive line and beating a man straight up. We heard all about what a connection Mensah and Barkate have. He needs to step up is game too.

Ethan O'Connor with textbook Backshoulder route coverage.

- Initiated contact with one-hand jam to steer the WR towards the sideline with outside leverage.
- Immediately flipped & played to the inside hip pocket of the WR
- Got in phase after route recognition to get his head around & read the route towards the inside shoulder
- Nearly came away with a pick, but wasn't able to restabilize hid feet to come back to the ball.

He read the underthrow perfectly to the inside, just kept running & couldn't get his feet back in time.

But EOC has been an absolute Godsend after losing Romanas & XL. Tbh, he probably should've been starting at Boundary anyway & just put XL at Nickel given his experience playing Safety at Wisconsin, but that's neither here nor there.

EOC is putting together some very good tape this season. I'm guessing he has at least another year of eligibility, but if he continues to keep playing at a high level this season, he could declare & easily get a day 2 3rd round grade.

EOC covering back shoulders now.. Still too soon for me and I never was stressin about it before..

He got **** on pretty bad by several here after the playoffs. I’m glad to see he put in work in offseason to take that leap, clearly paying off.
