Lockdown Island 🔒 🏝

Familiar name for us. Didn’t watch a lick of this game, but UF fans are all screaming for this kid to get reps over Cormani & Ben Hanks JR, who haven’t looked good at all apparently.

Id imagine he could have been our starting nickel right now

@Memnon I rewatched the FAMU game and noticed that Bryce took all of his snaps at field corner and Damari/EOC rotated at boundary. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if memory serves me right, i remember the corners playing more to a specific side last year. For example, Lucas took snaps on the left side regardless of whether it was field or boundary. Is there any difference to the philosophies? Also through two games it looks like they've kept Thornton to the field and JJ to the boundary.

Lupoi bringing him from Oregon was a slick move but even before that was interested to see how Lupoi combined his 3 high defense stuff with his DC Hutchings from the VIkings pressure presentation but zone on back end.. Dude already looking like chess piece.. UCLA loss was tough but they can make moves in ACC..

I was low on Harbaugh & Lamar.

I'm glad Harbaugh is gone, but I still don't trust Lamar in the playoffs in crunchtime.

I've seen him dominate the regular season for most of his career, that's what he does. He puts up fantastic numbers & has great games in the regular season. Then come playoff time, he has meltdowns & can't stop turning the ball over.

I think Minter/Weaver will have the Defense significantly better, but everything will come down to Lamar not choking in the playoffs & leading us to a Superbowl.

Until then, he's still LaChoke Jackson.
I like what Declan got him doin, its early like you say and at this point Lamar been soo elite during regular season people just want to see what he does during playoffs, which is legit gripe..

I just want to see what Minter cooks up on defense and hope/pray Hetherman lean into it like his boy Haines..

This rotation is sick..
