Local media need to do their jobs and grill CMR.

Today’s Herald dedicated a single article about the game and it was by SMD of all people.

The local press doesn’t give a **** about winning or changing things

1. Coach...why do you continue to go with Malik when it is obvious he isn’t the answer?
2. Coach...how long will you continue to tolerate horrible punting that is killing field position?
3. Coach...when are you going to hire a proven offensive coordinator?
4. Coach...why aren’t you recruiting another quarterback or two?
5. Coach...your blocking scheme is ineffective. When will you roll the pocket to give your inept quarterback more time?
6. Coach...your screen play worked early. Will we see it again this year?
7. Coach...do you know what a quick pitch is?

You’ll never hear the homers on 560 ever ask these questions. Ever.
 
We need some good beat writers who actually know football and care about the team..you've got 18 year olds with podcasts asking saban about stuff..the herald and pbp are crap anyways

Exactly! These are all standard questions for big schools..CMR is getting a pass from everyone in the media....but hey, at least we get those hard hitting questions about the right way to eat a ****** sandwhich

I think hes scared to open that can of worms..because once he finally admits rosier just isn't there, the new question becomes and REAL question is why in the **** Jon is still our QB coach. He's proven he can't develop a QB..kaaya and now rosier

Since when is it the job of the media to give a hard time to people they like?
 
Richt is perfectly right as a head coach, defending his players and not throwing any under the bus.
Unfortunately, he's also 100% responsible for that yet another nationally televised debacle last night. That's a bit tougher to admit.
 
Are the rest of the sports media down there glorified stenographers, or is this just a problem with Hurricane beat writers?
 
UM has the worst beatoff writers in all of sports.

They collect free paychecks just like UM corches do.
