Look, one poster (admittedly, a very good poster) can say whatever he wants. That doesn't make it 100% true.
It wasn't true when Miami was ******* up Calvin Russell's recruitment a year ago (i.e., it had NOTHING to do with NIL). And it wasn't true when Calvin was considering Syracuse (which was NEVER going to be his top NIL offer). There are a lot of things that are hindering Miami's recruitment. Do you honestly believe that if Miami offered Calvin the most NIL money, he would pick UM? Because that doesn't seem to be his mother's take on the situation.
Again, this is more than just one factor. At least with Miami. If Miami is the top bidder, we will need to do more. And if Miami loses out, it won't solely be due to NIL. I won't speak to how the family evaluates all the other schools.
