With all due respect bon zanmi, that is a dumb take.

He was not unemployed when he was hired he was still at Akron & his medical condition hasn't affected his recruiting one bit. Whatever DL coach you dream of coming here ain't happening bro, get comfortable with Stroud because he's gonna be here for the next few years.

Our 2021 Defensive line class at DT & DE will be the best it's been in the last 4 years & Stroud will play a big part in that.
In Kevin's case he wont be here unless there is very extraordinary circumstances. Anotherwords an entirely different staff where he really is comfortable with everyone (head coach on down. Kevin wanted to be here now. But hes got a wife and kids. She made the call because she doesnt want them being raised in this kind of environment. Unless he gets a divorce dont even think about him. Stroud will be here about 5 years I'd say. I'm good with that.

He lifts with his room. Hes been a pleasant surprise to me. Room loves him because hes one of the rare coaches at this level who doesnt just break you down. He takes a kids skill set and adds to it rather than most coaches starting you from his own base and going from there. Give a kid what got him here and build. Should be common sense. Nesta loves this man.

Love this bit about Nesta.

Go Canes!

As for 2021 dline class that is two years away an unfortunately S. FLA love to jump on the UM train as early commits an that is more about using Miami cache to stir up hype than about the coach. How has Stroud done in closing on the 2020 kids?

Stroud was let go by the new Akron Head Coach in December 2018.

So let me ask you this would keep you prefer Miami keep Todd Stroud over paying the NC State buyout to get Kevin Patrick?

Fast forward to 4 min mark, he talkes about being fired at Akron.

Which means less than a broke di*k on a two peckered camel.

Many years ago, new coach at the University of Kentucky fired a staff that included: Bill Arnsparger, Howard Schnellenberger, and Don Shula. I guess that means those three pretty much sucked. Other than being in the club of GOAT coaches what did those three ever do in their careers?

Sarcasm aside, that a coach was fired at some point in his career is irrelevant. Completely.

And when Stroud was at NC State, a place that doesn't recruit on the highest level his players got drafted too. Manny Lawson was a 2-star prospect. First round pick. John McCargo another 2-star. First round pick. Maybe stop licking the sap coming out of trees and educate yourself.

Coach Kool was fired by Alabama. That proves he's not a good coach.

Your taking my intended reference out of context. I was responding to liberty EL statement about Stroud was not unemployed when Manny hired him.

His worth to Manny is on the administrative side, as for being a coach his time has past him bye. His dline 2 year wonder hit at NC State was an anomaly, other than that his dline have been pure poopoo. An as a DC at Akron they were terrible. Stroud is a chief of staff hire, not the future at dline for Miami.

He was unemployed for a reason when. Manny threw him a bone.

An yes Coach Stroud looks amazing, but with his medical condition he could gone as a coach at any moment because he is on borrowed time an you know top dline recruits are being told this both by other schools and the recruits HS coaches.

Manny needs to write the check for Kevin Patrick to payoff NC State or find a younger KP.

What’s it like to always be wrong

Watch the video he outlines his Terminal Cancer diagnosis. It's not pleasant but If you think negative recruiting isn't going around Stroud your naive. Add in his lack of producing an NFL draft pic in 14 years an you don't schools are hitting on this.

An for the record Francis I was cool with the Simpson hire by Coach Richt. Yes I thought there were better options but I also saw the value he brought between his NFL background and Georgia connections.

You’re just awful.

Paramus, time to take a knee, good buddy.

When I was in JUCO our DC lifted with us which gave us mad respect for the dude. If the players have bought into him, he does well on the trail and stays here for 5 years he will be a home run hire.

Anyone who would Negative recruit someone over a debilitating disease that the person overcame should DIAF...

Thanks, MS. Why was this event so low key? Just a true teaching camp, and big names (except Roberts) waiting on Paradise?
I have no idea. Elijah woke me up that morning to ask if he could go. I think he found out about it the night before. The coaches were shocked to see him as well. They didn't "expect" him to be there. (Not sure why) There were a lot of smaller kids there too but Elijah took the opportunity to work with Stroud and ended up getting some 1 on 1 time with him.
