Tru has some of the best hands in college basketball. He’s pretty much good for 2 steals a game. This is not a skill that can be taught. It’s a gift of eye-hand coordination and arm length.Great win. Tru was the difference maker and how about the Henderson block and dunk at the end.
So happy for Jai to beat Kelsey and that brand
Yup, also great at getting a little extra time to review plays by subbing guys in or having guys pretend to roll an ankle or somethingJai and staff have been excellent with challenges this year. Excellent
Yea Jay Williams was calling it a bad challenge. The replay looked obvious to me.Yup, also great at getting a little extra time to review plays by subbing guys in or having guys pretend to roll an ankle or something
Still on staff? I know he attends every home game but elaborate please lolNot to take anything away from Jai (ive been a fan since Day 1) but I suspect some Coach L influence persists; after all he is still on staff and attends every game. The Final 4/Elite 8 Coach L teams were similarly gifted (on D when the refs allowed) and when the so-so shooters got hot, well, the sky was the limit. Hoping for dejas vu.
He is still on faculty at the university.Still on staff? I know he attends every home game but elaborate please lol
The issue is that you need Timo and Dovrat to provide legit minutes as we move into the Dance. You can't play 6 guys 30+ minutes per night and expect to survive long term. Even if Timo and Dovrat can combine to play 10-15 minutes of solid basketball, that's a big deal.Thing I liked best about this game was the rotation. No Altuntas (FINALLY), Dovrat and Timo got the quick hook, and the 6 other rotation players played 26 minutes each or more. Exactly the rotation I've been looking for
We’re a very solid 7 seed maybe the “top” 7 seed, win tomorrow and we’re a 6 seed
He was calling it a bad challenge while they were zooming in on the Lville player's hand hitting it out of boundsYea Jay Williams was calling it a bad challenge. The replay looked obvious to me.
Pretty much my experience being around those three. They act like they occupy Shangri-la. All while being boring and vanilla as ****.Took my 2 older sons to the game today after work. I only caught the end then watched FSU-Duke, and left before UNC-Clemson. I’ve been to a lot of ACC sporting events in the area, along with a few games @Clemson. Tonight there were a bunch of Clemson/UNC fans. Most were cheering for FSU. I was rooting for neither, but I celebrated when FSU fumbled the lead. A whole lot of older Clemson/UNC/Duke fans were being ****** to me for no reason. For once I wasn’t belligerent and being an *******. I loved being around all those bum fans and feeling the hate. It felt like when I was younger and people would talk **** to me in my Miami starter jacket. ****em. I did chirp back a couple times until my 10yo got embarrassed.
Can’t wait for this @Clemson game. I’m going to preorder a bondsman because I’m sick of Clemson fans and their bs. I’ll take a few with me.
There is no such thing as a "winning culture"- winning is a result of the culture within your program. The winning culture that’s been instilled in the core guys at their previous stops is gonna pay dividends in the tourney. I see Tre taking over and being the media darling on our run
