Dude, stop. He's an abomination.

He makes catches when he's absolutely naked wide open. Absolutely no chance on any sort of contested catch situation. He gives you nothing after the catch either. On a good team he isn't anywhere near the 2 deep.

He did get “sacked” (it was just a two-hand touch) by Frierson on a 3rd down Blitz & had maybe one or two errant throws, he sometimes will hold onto the ball looking for the big play which Lashlee got on him pretty hard for, but other than that he was really good.

He’s got a good arm, but more than just raw arm talent, he’s got a sh*t ton of confidence, he will fit the ball into tight windows & make difficult second level throws without hesitation.

Just a quick question, LCE.

I see Garcia as a no fear gunslinger - he'll go for it, thread needles without hesitation - fearless.

TVD is more deliberate - smaller chunks, plays the percentages, a bit more conservative on what he throws.

Your opinion?

  • If pope or wiggins are on the field this fall it will be viewed as a failure of the coaching staff in my eyes.
  • Xavier Restrepo is good but limited, but his intensity and work ethic mandate that he be on the field in my opinion.

Impressed with Garcia’s pocket presence. If king can’t go I’d rather toss Garcia out there. Odds we win would be terrible no matter what, only shot is someone who can move and let it fly and hope you get some big plays on bama since it’s game 1. I think TVD would go out and try to play safe and that’s not beating bama.

I’m on wiggins *** before pope easily.. pope is very much average, wiggins is flat out bad considering his size and speed combo and how he gets bullied and can’t catch
 
Anybody else a little bothered that they're showing King while he's calling plays for us? Other teams will watch this and take note of signals...

Harley had drops early last season. Hankerson was a drop problem until his senior year. Kids can turn it around, and Pope has talent.

But he's also limited in terms of fighting with CBs for position and keeping balance after the catch to extend plays. I was his biggest fan coming out of High School. But I just see too many flaws so late in his development. I'm for giving most of his reps away to Restrepo and B Smith, and making him earn his way back onto the field. Or transfer.
