Yeah he was very impressive.

He didn’t really have to run because there’s no contact on the QB, but he looked good in the pocket, he has a very quick trigger & slings it. He did get “sacked” (it was just a two-hand touch) by Frierson on a 3rd down Blitz & had maybe one or two errant throws, he sometimes will hold onto the ball looking for the big play which Lashlee got on him pretty hard for, but other than that he was really good.

He’s got a good arm, but more than just raw arm talent, he’s got a sh*t ton of confidence, he will fit the ball into tight windows & make difficult second level throws without hesitation.

How Pope still has a scholarship is beyond me. We need to do a much better job recruiting the skill positions, which is a ridiculous thing to have to even type given where we are located geographically.
