Can’t really judge the DLine IMO because they’re not allowed to hit the QB.

The 1st team DLine looked pretty good to me, obviously Nesta is out, but except for McCloud I think they’re all going to be solid. Probably not as hyper productive as Rousseau & Phillips were, but I think as a group they’ll be good enough.

The OL looks good, but I’m still waiting to see how they’ll handle some Defenses with some legit pass rushers in a real game. Sometimes Spring games/scrimmages can be deceiving.

Very good pace of play & very competitive from 1st to 3rd teamers & walk-ons.

Not that Spring games really mean much in the grand scheme of things, but what it signals is that the team is bought into the message & that they’re hungry to compete, which is all you can really ask for in Spring camp.

This Fall is going to interesting AF if we keep everybody healthy.

agreed fall is going to be competivite we deep at safety and I still like Mello to play man....6/8 not cutting it.

Going to be a **** of a battle next Spring. TVD has edge right now with experience with Lashlee's offense. Garcia looks more accurate and ball releases much quicker it seems. Both are legit.
 
Random thoughts at halftime:

  • This is fun to watch. We have athletes all over the field.
  • Its easy to see why the hype is being thrown at both Garcia and TVD. Wow.
  • For Garcia to be where he at this point, essentially 4 weeks prior to his high school prom is unreal.
  • I liked what Im seeing from this new running back. Cant remember his name. The one who signed late??
  • If pope or wiggins are on the field this fall it will be viewed as a failure of the coaching staff in my eyes.
  • Xavier Restrepo is good but limited, but his intensity and work ethic mandate that he be on the field in my opinion.
  • Rambo and Harley are going to give teams fits.
