Miami five-star running back commit Lorenzo Lingard is the Gatorade Florida Player of the Year .

The Orange City University standout ran for 1,701 yards and 26 touchdowns on 207 carries this past season leading the Titans to a 5-4 record.

He also showed how much of a man he was when he went over to check on his rival who had a hamstring injury after the race. All class
