Lingard and coach’s lack of communication

What's the worse that could happen if he plays?

Give him some carries & see what he can do, why is it always so **** difficult for our talented players to get on the field with this staff?

We've been running this 2 back only system for years now & our run game has been consistently inconsistent.

Just put these fckin kids on the field & see what they're made of, no sense in struggling & losing games while only playing a select few group of players, then turn around & go off on'em in the media about how players aren't practicing hard enough & playing up to Miami standard.

We're the only program in America that is extremely reluctant to play our highest rated players while simultaneously wondering why high rated recruits are wholesale rejecting us lol.

Has he played at all? If not, hold him until the last few games. Try to redshirt him, like McCloud.

Besides people on here that think they know whats going on.........what has lo done to prove he should take away snaps from DJ or Cam
What has dj or cam done to prove that he shouldn’t play at all? Don’t get me wrong they are playing good but Lingard brings a different skill set. Even when Miami had great depth 3rd and 4th strings rb played in games(gore on those early 2000 teams). **** when randy Shannon was the coach we had berry, Miller, cooper, James all playing at the same time too. It can be done

I don't want for us to lose Lingard because he's frustrated about playing time. No matter the reason, losing elite talent will not help us get to where we want to go. We've generally got to find a way to make sure we do the best we can to work with guys that aren't happy about their playing time. I know that all of us are frustrated with our team this year, and for the past 18 years.

All that being said, i'm not really sure how this one is on our coaches. Lingard hurt his knee substantially enough that he was not medically cleared for his knee until a couple weeks ago. Then, in practice, he sustains a concussion (per Tweed), and ends up in the protocol. Then, in a game where we thought we would have a chance to play some of our backups, we inexplicably end up in a dogfight. We all wanted to see him finally play against Central Michigan, but do people honestly think this was the right time to get him in?

Our offensive line was getting blown up. He hadn't faced game action in a year. Both of our starting RBs have arguably been our best offensive players this season. This largely wasn't a case of them being ineffective because of something they did (Harris did bounce that one run where it looked like he had a lane). To suggest that we would put him in to face this situation is pretty unrealistic. Now, should all of that be communicated to him so that he understands where he stands in the rotation? Yes, that seems like a better way to handle it. But if the complaint is that he is frustrated he hasn't played, i'm just not seeing it.

what do you expect

it's no mystery.

they are getting paid to stay with the program. it's taking advantage of getto selfish. nothing more.

So was Ed Reed paid to stay? Maybe Bryant McKinnie? How about Phillip Buchanon? What about J Shockey?

All those guys had NFL draft grades of 1st - 2nd rounds.

On my mama, ya’ll ninja’s have developed an inferiority complex. Taking on the persona of the coaches & this Mickey Mouse ran football squad.
