Selective memory is a MF'er. Y'all must've forgot how Sharpton and McCarthy used to drill people.

That is a no brainer. ‘07. McCarthy was very underrated and was off to a good nfl career before injuries. Gooden was a great athlete and had a very good nfl career. Sharpton was at least as good as our current guys. Probably better.

I can remember folks early on trying to compare the current LB crew with the Jesse, Darrin and Micheal and I would just laugh, not even close! They were the total package and Micheal ran the defensive room and Gino ran the offensive room. Manny is trying to get back to the leaders truly running the locker room which I like to see, hope it works out. Those old teams policed themselves.

That was certainly the goat cfb lb group. 36 nfl seasons. high level also. And great mix of speed, toughness, play making.

The Triangle had it all and I agree, the greatest set of LBs ever. Those dudes set a very high bar. Fun team
