We should draw a line in the sand now and proclaim are you a Diaz slurper or not and think this is a bad hire.

I for one am not a slurper and think this is an absolutely bad hire. We needed to go after Babers

If Diaz succeeds I’ll be the first to eat crow but I can not slurp Diaz at this time.

My point is you already have posters who get mad at anything negative about Diaz
That way we can ignore the slurpers cuz I learned during the cmr era that talking to them is like talking to a wall

I will be okay with the hire if we hire a good OC (not Ponce) and Jon richt/searles/brown are shipped to Africa.

why do we have to be a slurper or not a slurper? can't we just be someone that is happy with the hire, but still cautious bc of the inexperience and that hiring who the players want hasn't worked well here in the past? But i'm still excited to see where this goes based on what he has said so far. but then again al golden talked a good game when he first got here too.

You can be extremely critical and frustrated by how the process was handled while also hoping Diaz works out. That’s where I’m at.
Like it has been said...the staff specially on offense will tell us all we need to know about how this will go.
So let’s see.....
 
Manny wasn't my top few 8deas,.. But,.. I'm willing to (happily cautious) let him run!!
Lets see what kind of coaches get brought in.
I do like his fire, and energy,.. But that doesn't win games by itself!

I go on the assumption that our AD is a figurehead with no power and that BOT politics and cronyism are now driving UM sports.
From that perspective just hope we get lucky every couple of decades. I wish Manny well, but don't think he comes close to deserving this gig.

Then don’t be a fan. Simple as that. I don’t like the hire at all, wouldn’t have been my choice, but it’s done. It’s not changing for a year anyway.

Why bother posting and following the team? Just quit.
