The way the two DBs failed to leverage the ball reminded me of our defense last season

I’ll take him as an OC if he gets canned… Mario and Mirabel will assure the oline will be stout no matter what and he won’t have his hands on the teams overall “soft” core they have
 
One of my closest friends is a SC season ticket holder. We talk football often…

Told him last night “yall soft… not physical on O or D. And I know because I watched UM be that way for a good while. Lincoln doesn’t coach physicality so yall will never be physical under him.”

He agreed.

Been out there for a couple of games… amazing game day atmosphere btw.

Great offenses but defenses are just not good enough to win anything of importance.

This is precisely why this program should never implement a pass heavy offense. It results in a team that is soft as charmin on both sides of the ball. The offense will generate a bunch of worthless passing yds, & have a QB with a high PFF grade, while struggling to win 7, 8, 9, games a yr. Lincoln Riley is still one of the best offensive minds, & QB developers in CFB, but his system usually struggles against quality defenses.
