GT has fumbled the ball a remarkable 12 times (8 lost) in 4 games, ranking #125 out of 129 D-1 schools. Especially the QB who's fumbled 6 times already. We need to be going after the football early and often this week. Everyone wears this turnover chain.

Also kudos to the Canes who lead the NCAA with 0 fumbles.

If we fumble this weekend, it’s on you. Bad juju.

We got to swarm and shoot gaps/beat blockers. GT's fumbles don't really come from someone jarring the ball loose. It's from the QB facing a tackle so pitching the ball to try to save the play. Much like our second fumble return last year when Thomas **** himself from the pressure. Their current QB is that dumb x 10. Which means we got to constantly put him in those situations.

How about everybody does their damn job and let the fumbles just happen? Half the problem last week was guys trying too hard to make the Play-Of-The-Day®.

some GT fan on reddit was saying that Johnson spent the whole bye week making them work on ball security, for whatever that's worth.

That's the key to the whole game. Get early hits on the QB. Don't sit back and "catch" him. Get to him and put hits on him and force mistakes.

That's great news to hear our defense will make them pay dearly if they don't hold on to the ball.

We are 7-2 against GT while Johnson has been corch. In our 2 losses, we are -3 total in the TO battle. In our 7 wins we are +6. In this game, you gotta cause a turnover or two and then promptly score a TD. When you only have like 7 possessions per game, you gotta cash in every time.
