The mission this week is to bring hellfire on Pittsburg. A squeaky win will not be enough. We need to dominate, and beat them by a higher margin than ND did.

Do that, and I actually think there’s enough in our favor to push us into the CFP. We beat them in the first game, and in the last we beat a *recent* common opponent (and their best win) by more than they did. So this “they got better” and “it was just a starting QB” and other narrative bs becomes moot. They will have nothing.

Don’t do that and we likely get ****ed, barring a miracle stumble into the ACC champ game.

That’s the mission. Don’t care who doesn’t like it. Get it done.

It absolutely cannot be close or the refs will take over. They're gonna take advantage of that -7 spread.

It's tough to keep the focus going up 28-0, but Pitt had 180 yards of offense in the last 3 quarters.
They were a "Heisman Haynes" meltdown away from blowing it.

I wonder how many of those tee-shirts made it out of the stadium? 🤣

Georgia Tech's defense was suspect to fraudulent all year long. The refs let them off the hook vs. WF. Duke let them off the hook with self-inflicted gunshot wounds. BC let them off the hook by being BC.

Pitt finally got em. Georgia will destroy their defense next week.

For Pitt, the matchup with us is so different than GT that there isn't much about that game that you can use to read into this one. It's just going to be an entirely different game.

Like it or not don't be deceived that we are going to get into a head to head combination with Notre Dame no matter what they have said. You should be looking for any of the combinations that gets you to ACC championship game which is essentially a four team parlay bet, or the combination of losses ahead of us that gets us an at-large which could be something like Alabama losing to Auburn, Mississippi State Beating ole miss, and oregon losing at washington, or potentially two of those three and then BYU getting completely boat raced by Texas Tech the following week that alters their championship methodology

All of those remove the Notre Dame committee decision and the assumptions that by definition if we just get into the same pool with them that they are going to wait head-to-head in any way that makes us jump ahead of them which I think is a fools errand to assume

We can’t even blow out a ****** VT without a head coach and a QB. What makes you think he is are blowing Pitt in cold *** weather?

I didn’t say anywhere I expect it. I said it is what they have to do to take a CFP appearance into their own hands.

Problem is, it’s not in their hands. People keep wanting to believe that we can style point our way into the CFP. It’s not going to happen. We could beat Pitt 85-3. It’s not gonna hop us over enough teams to get in. Only shot is to have some upsets we thought might happen this weekend, happen next weekend.

Just get the W by any means necessary. Might need a loss in front of us. Is what it is. I believe we deserve the nod over ND but too much smoke to believe the fix isnt in unless Bama, OU, or someone else blows it to help us.

But what if they barely squeak by Stanford?
