His effort is amazingAfter this game I’m no longer sure Lightfoot couldn’t be our every down starter at DE. 230 … 235 … whatever his weight is, he gets home.

Yeah he plays bigger than his size suggest he would for sureLook ideally you want a little more mass with a WDE but between his athletic superiority, unreal motor, versatility and again surprising functional strength, this is not a player you keep off the field. Making him a situational player is a mistake.
This play:NO WAY!! I need to see this ****!!
That is 100% true.Thing is, that line is an approximation and Mali checked with the line judge who green lighted the spot
My brother is very good friends with Haley. Has been for 30 years. I love players that are a little crazy. Just not that crazy…For those who have been around a ,while, he reminds me of a young Charles Haley
Real crazy. The last naked warrior. My brother is very good friends with Haley. Has been for 30 years. I love players that are a little crazy. Just not that crazy…
The question is his ability to “consistently” set the edge in the run game. Will adding weight help with that? Yes and maybe… yes from a durability standpoint and maybe from a technique and “want to” standpoint. If he can be 85% of what Bain and Mesidor have been in the run game for us then he’ll be a good everydown DE for us next yearLook ideally you want a little more mass with a WDE but between his athletic superiority, unreal motor, versatility and again surprising functional strength, this is not a player you keep off the field. Dude was pressing WRs lol he did it allThe entire Defense played well and K Scott earned a well deserved Defensive MVP but M Lightfoot played his 5-star tail off. It was him that even got that pressure on Sayin that lead to K Thomas game ending INT…He stayed and has been a lottery ticket for us this year and moving forward
