I was hoping for an answer along the lines of "CIA"
Even if it was the answer, he couldn't say. But we might see a press release saying I have sent TuanJim on a covert mission to Liberia. His job is to teach them English. The clue is when someone says he is working on a contract.

I know, part of the reason I wrote CIA is that my boss at the time was almost assuredly CIA. He never admitted it, but all of the staff thought so.

Dude, it was a miserable time. Took Pan Am 1, and as we were landing, my co-worker said "hope they dont shoot at us this time". After crapping in my pants, I had to get into an old Jeep for a 3 hour drive into the jungle, mostly unpaved roads. My back still hurts.

On that note, I'm going to pass on your Monrovia tailgating party.

That reminds me a little of my South African trip: the shoot at us, the 3-hour drive on mostly unpaved roads, the back pain...

I took a DNA test back in 2021 and found out my paternal roots were in Liberia/Sierra Leone, while my maternal side was from the Bambara tribe in Mali. Visiting one of the 3 countries is on my bucket list. For now, I will have to live through you OP lol.

The SL coast is beautiful and has loads of potential...

Other than the OP, I am probably the only one here that has actually been in Liberia, spent a month there when I was a young pup.
My friend used to live right on JA Ely blvd in Liberia, Hollywood.

@gogeta4 might be the only one who gets this joke.
