Agree on the attrition piece, which as we’ve seen, is a matter of business.

If he can't run up the A gap he needs to transfer. Pringle who runs a 10.5 hits the A gap like a virgin at prom. I suspect he will get his chance eventually.
 
I’ve said Mallory makes me think of Gore. At least for me, it’s about his running style and stature. He’s a RB, moves like him, resembles him physically. Wearing 21 also doesn’t hurt.

Clearly Gore’s in his own league. A legend.
Don’t think anyone means Mallory is anywhere near that. I’m sure most (sane) people saying he “reminds” of Gore are simply those obvious visual cues.

When you compare someone to a all-time great, it think's it's implied that you're referring to their style of play, not that they are at that all-time great's level.

If he can’t run between the tackles then he’s not good
 
Mallory is impressive but before I announce him I'd like to see him operate against fresher and better opponents, not the beaten down and weak defenses he's run through in the 2d half in the past two weeks...

Marty Brown is the best back on the team, especially how Mario and Mirabel scheme up their run game. Weird how many of you undervalue Marty Supreme!
