Let's talk Diaz coaching tree...

Not really referring to who coached UNDER him, but WITH him. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "tree", as most people associate that word with WORKED UNDER.

If Manny brings in and gives a quality OC full autonomy on the O side, then said OC holds the axe.

I would agree that’s the right number for an over/under. I think only coaches who presumably are at risk are on the offensive side of ball and of those it’s only Searels, Jorn and Brown. I have my doubts Jorn will be outright fired and not made an “offensive analyst”.

From UM's admins...nothing shocks me.

But deep inside a piece of me thought.....No....there's no way Manny would do this to the fanbase.

I'm prepping myself for the worst, it feels like lately all the promising rumors haven't panned out and all the horrible rumors have come to pass .

You can’t be serious. If Diaz hires Ponce, we’d have the following:

HC with no experience
OC with no playcalling experience
Co-DCs with no experience

Now, say all that out loud and see if it makes any sense.

Ponce will be OC/QB, Jon will be moved to STs with Hartley, and everyone else except maybe Searles will remain.

Oh im not saying it will happen, but name one Offensive staff member that deserves to be retained. Dugans? Hartley? I could entertain an argument for them to be released OR retained, but the rest are no-brainer pink slips.
 
You got nothing to worry about bro. I heard he is going to bring in a few guys from Bandas Coaching tree. These guys having been really honing their craft the last few years and are currently able to mix up 15 drinks in under 2 minutes.

Manny aint firing no one its all rumors, he will keep the staff and wont recruit. 2019 class will be a disaster
