Wish I could make it. FSU or UNC may be the only weekend I'm available. Wifey is beginning her masters program this fall and I have military obligations 1 weekend a month. Between that, full time jobs, and 2 kids, opening day won't work coming from Atlanta. I like this idea though. If you're within an hour drive away take advantage.

I actually think we'll get more. There's a LOT of excitement with the Richt hire, and the renovations. I can't remember there ever being this much excitement going into a season. When we were good, we all expected to win. When we were bad, we all became indifferent. Now it feels like we are at the gates to the promised land, and we all are just dying to get in. 40K would be a disappointment.
I'll be there and I'm thinking we'll get 40k

We have this argument every time we play FAMU and everything you guys just don't get it. Of course there will be 55k + there! The hurricane season tix office said we sold 40k+ season tix. Famu will bring 5k+ between local alumni and students who live local who come home for the weekend AND kids who famu who are from OOS and just wanna see Miami. Add in another 10k off the street because it's the first home game.

Again, every time we play famu you guys underestimate the crowd. I'll say this, I predict there will be more people at the famu game then at the Fau game.

I'll be in the concourse. Hopefully my Concourse Crew will be 30k deep with The Living Legend.

Haven't missed a home game in years. I think 50,000 is a reasonable estimate.

Good points. Well over 50k it is.

Most of those aren't the real actual attendance figures. Last years Bethune Cookman game they announced there were forty something thousand at the game and dat was bull****. There was maybe 15,000 including the coaches and players from both teams and da muther f**kers working the concessions.

Why did FAMU in 02 get so many attendes? I get that 04-06 are outliers because we actually played real opponents in those games.

I'm not sure that having a better team explains it since the 00, 01 and 03 openers had low attendance.

"Let's put 68,000 in the stands like 2002 FAMU!"

Our new stadium has a 65,000 seat capacity. Oh my!

You got to get your priorities straight. My bro went to UM law school and never missed a home game. He was law review, captain of moot court team, and graduated top 5 in his class.
