Let's just keep it real

How do you objectively measure a player or team wanting it more or less than another?
Body language. Playing more physical in the trenches than we were. Them playing with nothing to lose and itching to knock off a top ranked rival. Some extra toughness from
FSU than previous games (they totally gave up against Louisville) was evident. They gave us their best and we didn’t give them our best yet we still won. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. We’re known for coming into games sleep walking a bit after a bye and that absolutely showed. We were 20 point favorites even though I thought it was high, but I didn’t expect double OT.

So nothing objective just a subjective interpretation from your perspective?

We have guys playing injured, backups playing meaningful snaps due to injuries, young guys getting meaningful snaps, and a good portion of the locker room was dealing with or recovering from the flu.

None of that factors I to any of it just a subjective evaluation of "body language" to help fit whatever narrative you have.

"Wanting it more" is such a bull**** cliche people toss around when they don't understand what they're watching. It's the same retarded logic behind "water makes you weak". GTFOH.

Agreed, facts are a b*t*h for some people. Here’s another one, We dodged a bullet. In recent years we didn’t and it hurt us. Until last year when we lost to SMU.That loss was a perfect example of something I have told my kids” Every stumbling block is a stepping stone, every obstacle is an opportunity “. The FSU game can and should be our stepping stone and our opportunity to make adjustments and get guys healthy for the push towards the rest of our season. GOCANES🙌🏽
