You can vent fam but calling the Defense horrible is wild, I think most of our fans really thought we would cruise thru szn winning every game by 21+ smh the best team ever assembled couldn’t even do that lol..personally I thought FSU would lay down n get beat by 50 too but I’m not gonna overreact it’s a rivalry n they played with some pride. Hopefully as we get more guys healthy we continue to improve but all this “WE SUCK!” **** is ridiculous.

Like last year when we were in the National Title game and almost won it?

I'm not penciling in anything with this patchwork secondary, btw. I dunno about the "we" thing as we'll have to be both lucky and good to finish this year without a slip-up.

At this point of the season it's exactly the opposite, IMO, and we've outdone expectations.

I personally think our defense did suck last night
 
I got a homie that’s like this about his teams. Hyperbolic at every turn. Guy makes a shot, he’s better than Steph. Team loses a game, everyone sucks and needs to be fired.

These are not serious people when it comes to sports.

I keep this in mind as CIS has 100 new threads about how we suck as we’re currently ranked number 1 in the country

I know we're trying to recruit better players. Beyond that, how'd you fix things?

lol, I didn’t mean you specifically. WE as Miami fans tend to just assume we’ll beat the mid teams like GT and fsu. But even last year we lost two we shouldn’t have and nobody saw them coming.

This year? Just get the most out of this group we still have a super high ceiling.

I don’t think we are in the “fix” things era anymore, we are an elite program that should be top10 every year, we won’t win a natty or play for one every year tho because those days are over in cfb

Yes, people ignoring our schedule and talking about postseason as if we're already in it.
 
I don’t think Hetherman has been nearly as good as he was last year. But he also doesn’t have Bain, Mesidor, Scott, I can keep going.

We are also severely impacted by injuries. Losing Poyser last night was huge as well. I know he kept coming back into the game, but Fitzgerald’s injuries didn’t help.

I’m not going to label Hetherman as a one hit wonder. I think he made some crucial mistakes yesterday but there’s literally zero coaches in the history of any sport who have made zero mistakes.

At some point we have to stop comparing this team to the team that beat TAMU, Ohio State, Ole Miss and was 40 yards from a title. It’s as if people have forgotten how bad we looked last late October/November. I mean I remember people ****ting on Bain’s play, specifically the Louisville game. Just let the season progress and stop knee jerk reacting to every single game. Five teams are undefeated. We are one of them and take that for what it’s worth rn.

I dont get why we shouldnt have if the other team played better. We didn't have an All-TIme roster or anything,...and we don't this year either. If we somehow "knew" all of the games we would lose beforehand,...we wouldn't watch. That and these being kids is what makes the sport exciting,...no?
