We are only ranked #2 because of our schedule thus far. As soon as they have ANY reason to have teams jump us, they will do that. Except those that currently have us at #1, and some #2. Any voter that has us at 3 or lower is chomping at the bit to have teams jump us.

I honestly think the best thing to happen to us is for us to drop during the bye week. If we drop to 3 or 4, it'll light a fire under our players. Not saying Mario won't light a fire anyway, even if we are #1, just that young men try harder when they feel they have been disrespected. It's human nature.

I think we are the best team in the country, and if we simply play to our potential, no one will beat us. Let's just stay motivated to do just that.
