with out a doubt, Gattis was Horrific but all his offensive assistants were already hired by the time he accepted. The D seems like same situation and CMC seems to favor guys who can recruit vs guys who can coach....... we were poorly coached period.
CMC needs to do some soul searching as what he is doing is not working......

Not that I have faith in him nailing the hires, but from what I’ve heard, he’s comfortable changing his style. He’s not dumb - he knows recruits don’t like this style of offense and we’re clearly not built for it. I think we’ll go with something more vertically imposing and creative, but that’s just me putting tidbits together.

We don’t have to worry about amassing talent. We just need to attack the portal and pray to god we get a B+ or better OC hire. That hire will tell us all we have to know about Mario’s mindset.

Agreed and if we lose too many then we’ll be forced to fill our roster with more jags just to create depth which leads us right back where we were before all of this

You are correct but honestly I'm ok with it.... Rip it all apart and start from scratch.... If Mario is the recruiter and talent evaluator it's claimed he is then he can rebuild it... Let's hope he really is that guy...

yes, player evals have been substandard , development has been awful as well. we looked poorly coached all year
talent is not this bad. did the staff have any chemistry at all 5 games over 40+ points ???
an offense that lacked any sense of rhythm ?? ......whole program seems out of sorts at the moment......
CMC is the guy who needs to make the changes ..... great recruiter , needs to turn over the O to a guy who can make it happen
and hand him the keys. the D was awful as well..... changes need to be made there as well
