Let me give you some stats about our offense

Manure and Penos started this spring with three 4-star QBs on their roster. Two of them were Elite 11 guys.

Penos is a below average journeyman OC and an overrated QB coach who got a bump by coaching for the GOAT for ONE season.

Williams has a big arm and is accurate. He’s calling RPO plays where Butch scouted, identified the routes and sat on them. No adjustment by our overpaid **** heel.

Easy adjustment would have been to run them off the field but we can’t even do that. Then we are chasing a game with plays FIU knows are coming. **** offensive game by an overpaid trash can.
The one team we could have run all over, then PA passed to death... Epic, epic failure.

Miami needs to stop trying to be like the old Miami teams offensively and adapt with the times in a true spread offense, it’s BEEN time to do that. Diaz fvcked up the offensive hire again. We need to be going fast , running lots of plays in a true spread. That drive when we were down 16 yet only got 3 points on a 7 minute drive in the 3rd quarter ****ed me tf off... you would think we had the lead with how much time we were wasting...
Going fast wouldn’t have worked against FIU. They would have faked an injury on every play.

We looked good offensively in two games this year and both of those games hand one thing in common......

WE ATTACKED DOWN THE FIELD VERTICALLY IN THE PASSING GAME !!!

The worst part is that I bet Enos doesn’t think he’s the problem. He’ll just come out with the same old excuse we’ve been hearing for years. “The plays were there to be made but we aren’t executing”

The closer to the goal line we get, the less likely we'll score a TD, it seems to me. Inversely, the worse an opponents 3rd or 4th down position is, the more likely they convert.

So we have a better QB but every thing else is worse. Last year we thought the only thing holding the offense back was play calling and QB. Now, imo it's OL and play calling. Just ******* LOL at us jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire with a 1.5 million dollar offensive coordinator. Offensive being the key word alright.

Oh yeah -

Bro, all I can do is laugh. It’s clown world at the Hecht.
Everyone needs to be laughed at for this. Even those of us who thought that maybe, maybe Manny was a solid hire. ****, he said a lot of good things, but **** it, the signs were always there. Promoted from failed staff. Check. Paid extra to get him from Temple. Check. No head coaching experience. Check. No real football playing experience. Check. Thinks trinkets are what Miami is about. Check. Thinks he knows what makes a great Miami team because he went to games in the 80s with his dad. Check. Has no clue what the cancer is. Check.

For someone that spends a lot of time in front of the mirror, he still can't see the problem. Check.

We need more speed at RB & WR. We need more explosive plays from the skill positions.

All the top teams in the country have RB's & WR's that can score from anywhere on any touch. We have neither right now.

I assume those stats include the Bethune game. The numbers are even worse if you only look at FBS opponents.
83rd in scoring offense (PPG)
89th in YPG
62nd in YPP
40th in passing offense
120 in rushing offense

My only hope is that Manny has shown an ability to self evaluate and adjust (at least as a def coord) and he usually improves from one year to the next. Let’s see if he can do that for next year.

With our schedule next year, anything worse than 2 losses (not including bowl/ACCCG) is unforgivable and he should be canned!

If Jarren was running RPOs the O stands for option. Isn't the qb's responsibility then to make those adjustments on the field? It was Jarren who kept throwing into the teeth of the defense when if he read what he was seeing correctly would have been to hand off.

Not a big Enos fan either based on the body of work but sometimes you have to set feelings aside and look at it objectively. This loss was on Jarren too.
