Yes, I thought Richt went into the VT game with a relatively good game plan so I obviously like this trash *** offense and don't want him or anyone fired. It's ok to argue a point and still hold an opinion that Richt won't get us there. I don't have to be over reactive to every single negative like you depressive fvcks. Harriet has been relatively *** at STA, he's an offensive coach with a trash offense being carried by his defense....sounds familiar?

Guess monkey face didn't display my obvious sarcasm. My point was to bring up how rare four game losing steaks have been at Miami the past four decades as displayed by OP when he filled in the missing years I mentioned. It's happened nine times and Richt is responsible for three of those in just three years.....out of forty. That's a disaster without any excuse given our soft strength of schedule the past three seasons. This really is corching on a higher level.

This is why I was scratching my head when the BOT member said things aren't as bad for Richt as they were for Golden. In my opinion, it is worse.

Jimmy was still trying to get his staff in place in 84. In 85 we win a title with a bowl win, so he obviously got things going quickly. Richt, in year 3, with THREE 4 game losing streaks.... I just don't know what to say.

Man, toooooooooooo many facts are coming out. Good chit OP; no lie, I was wondering this myself and just b/c of how chitty a coach Golden was, I assumed the same thing happened under his regime. Boy was I wrong.

I think ppl are confusing a new IPF and finally winning the Coastal as things being better. Both r nothing more than shiny distractions. The 10-0 start last yr was fun, but so was the 7-0 start back in 2013 w Golden. Winning the Coastal was fun, but so was “technically” winning the Coastal back in 2012 (a year we forfeitted winning the Coastal to stave off harsher NCAA penalties).

Dreams can become nightmares real soon when u finally wake up to reality. The dream was Richt would be the guy leading us back to relevance. We got a new IPF, we started 10-0, we won the Coastal, but the reality is Richt once upon a time was a good coach, and we over achieved last season. The close wins v. FSU, UVA, GT, UNC were sprinkles of balls bouncing our way as opposed to being a good team. Now, we see the result when if everything is even, when the ball doesn’t bounce our way, how we are truly coached.

Again three 4 game losing streaks back up this reality. Going 3-8 in our last 11 games against P5 teams w/ all 3 wins coming against only teams w/ losing records back up this reality.

I think he was talking about Richts position with the board... they’d had enough of golden. Richt still has some rope left before he hangs himself.

Yeah. I still like Richt, personally. He just needs to realize what he’s doing is not working and make appropriate changes. If he doesn’t he will be hated by all, myself included.
