Let’s not forget the refs

Man we’ve got to get off this “ the ref’s caused us to lose” crap that comes out every time we lose.
Were there bad and missed calls…of course they happen every game but let’s not pretend they didn’t call a couple of iffy calls on UL( the roughing call against them on the interception comes to mind).

We got outplayed and outcoached in all phases of the game and weren’t ready to play after another bye week which is usual for us.

Go ahead and downvote me all you want but the reason we lost this game was caused by a whoooole lot of people with that Big “U” on their shirts,hats and uniforms.

The refs have been bad so far this season. I feel like we are on the short end of the stick in every game so far.

Having said that, last night was not one of those games. I thought we got all the favorable calls. We did have 9 penalties against us and all of them were legit. Possibly the holding call against Daniels was questionable. He did grab the DB’s shoulder pad, but the DB made no effort. I can’t be upset at any of the penalties called against us.

I thought Louisville had 2 BS penalties called against them. Maybe they got away with holding our d-lineman a few times. We also got away with a couple PI’s that could have been called. That late hit on #50 was an absolutely horrible call. We’d be screaming at the top of our lungs if we got called for that. Motel actually hit their qb much later on one play and they didn’t call it.

Refs weren’t the reason we lost last night. They may have been the reason we still had a chance at the end.

It’s weird how a certain sector of fans are overly obsessed with the refs. Watching games with these folks they do nothing but look for missed calls. They must yell Holding like 50 times a game. This is where they seem to find their niche of entertainment value in the sport. The refs are like issues 87 on our list of issues. I realize you zealots won’t get over it, so have at this exciting conversation of conspiracy.

I didn't watch this game but in general the refs absolutely are a huge factor and do **** over Miami.
