I don’t care who the new coach is, where we rank in recruiting, what team we beat early in the season or what our preseason ranking is. I will not get excited about this program again unless they are a top ten team for at least 3 years. I’ve been watching Hurricanes football since the late 70s. This is by far the worst team I have ever seen and I sat through 5 years of probation. If this team played the 2021 Canes, the 2021 team would be favored by 21.5 and they’d cover. Because I love the program so much, I will watch the rest of the games with complete apathy. I’ll still want them to win but I’ll be rooting harder for them to break all time records for fastest games played in program history. Please fast forward this season now.

You think the spread against the 01 Canes would be 21.5?

There's no way I'm even tuning into Clemson. Not doing that **** to myself. I'll watch GT and Pitt and if hope for bowl eligibility. Once that's gone I'm done watching.

Do yall have any idea what clemson is going to do to us? 2nd string will be in after halftime.

MTSU dog walked us at home.. Now we have to go to clemson again with basically the same players that **** down their leg last time.. Might as well just run the clock from opening kickoff

A lot of people were lukewarm about Gattis and less about steal. (I wanted Brady and Schumann). But the general mood of the off-season was positive, and any descent was usually shunned.

I can remember only a minuscule portion of this board generally discouraged about the coaching hires as a whole.

Yep. Diaz recruited a particular type of player (mentally weak) - they've all checked out at this point.
