I don’t care who the new coach is, where we rank in recruiting, what team we beat early in the season or what our preseason ranking is. I will not get excited about this program again unless they are a top ten team for at least 3 years. I’ve been watching Hurricanes football since the late 70s. This is by far the worst team I have ever seen and I sat through 5 years of probation. If this team played the 2021 Canes, the 2021 team would be favored by 21.5 and they’d cover. Because I love the program so much, I will watch the rest of the games with complete apathy. I’ll still want them to win but I’ll be rooting harder for them to break all time records for fastest games played in program history. Please fast forward this season now.

We got blown out by MTSU at home, like the guy who made the thread about momentum to play gators in bowl game you have to be realistic.. We have no players who can make a play.. We have a small n slow rb who if he has a huge hole will get you 6-8 yards as explosive plays.. NO ONE can make a big play.. How do we score when we have no speeeed and cant run by anybody..

I agree it's unlikely. I'm still gonna hope for the best though.

How do you win when you have to consistently call timeouts to get your punt team on the field or take delay of games in the punting game? How can you expect to win when down by 2 scores with 6 minutes left it takes you 3 minutes to cross midfield? How can you expect to win when your head coach still you can win with a 1980’s brand of football? If you think this teams only problem are players who can make plays then you and Mario both have CTE.

Interesting thought I could see 2021 TVD throwing for 300+ on us easy and Knighton having atleast one or two big plays. Rambo probably would of probably set another record.

My dad gave up years ago. He said yesterday that even the 70s teams would put up a fight against the powerhouse teams then.

No they weren't. Plenty of us said his hires were dog****. People didn't want to listen.


I knew our offense and defense would suck.


Mario whiffed on his big hires. Got stuck with 2 perceived big names.
 
Duke put up almost 50 on us. Fsu beat the **** out of us.

Do yall have any idea what clemson is going to do to us? 2nd string will be in after halftime.

For being a team that hasn’t been **** in decades we sure do have the whiniest, most entitled fans. Truly an awful fanbase.

We didn't go out and spend the money we spent to look far worse than last year. I'd rather have Manny with a new OC over THIS poopshow.
