No. Miami fans aren't calling for AG's head because he's 0-3 vs. F$U. They're calling for his head because he hasn't shown that he can beat a nationally relevant team. Miles has plenty of big wins. He's still a douche and a cheater, but he's beaten good teams.

I don't think you can put Les Miles and Al Gorlden in the same conversation.
 
LSU is highly competitive against the premiere program in the country. Al hasnt been in the game going into the fourth. Les has a title, does Al have one or a Coastal one or MAC one?
 
And the sec refs didn't want Bama to get a second loss and fck up their playoff chances....
 
Is that supposed to be an earth-shattering point to a pro-Golden argument? Since Les has been there (2005) he has won a national title (2007), played for another (2011), two SEC championships (2007 and 2011), has a current record of 95-24 (52-20) in the toughest conference, and is 5-3 in bowl games that include (Sugar Bowl, BCS Title x2, Chick-Fil-A Bowl x2, Capital One, Cotton, and Outback).

If you want to look at his first four years for apples-to-apples:

44-11 (22-10)
One National Title
One SEC Championship
3-1 in Top Tier bowl games.


If Golden had any **** to show for in his first three years maybe no one would be calling for his head.

Don't care about the Golden angle but LSU fans should be grumbling. Can the guy find a legit qb? There are to many seasons that this guy trots out some bum to play qb for them. If I'm an LSU fan I would be a little tired of that ****.

Les Miles coached like **** against Alabama. I can see the comparison of a terrible game day coaching. A minute left, tie game, 1st down on the 5, and you lose the game. haha.

Not even Al could do that.

This thread went sideways on me quickly and didn't do a good enough job expressing my thought. Didn't mean to compare the two as it's night and day and there is no argument there. Lots of fans on this board are furious at Al for being 0-3 against FSU and include that in their reason for his firing. LSU has lost 4 straight to Bama and am interested to know that if you were an LSU fan, how you'd feel about that towards Miles.

Miles has won a NT, played for another, won bowl games, won double digit games in a season, he doesn't lose to Vanderbilt and teams like Arkansas. He plays tough OOC, throttle teams like Oregon....if only Golden lost to FSU. Smh Next!

Your whole comparison is wrong. Isolating both games is stupid. Golden is not winning double digit games and struggling with the top program in the last 6, years in CFB in the toughest division in CFB. He struggles with every common fodder up until 3 games ago. Stop being idiotic
