If college coaches mostly watch your 4th quarter plays when you're in a close game (are you THE MAN in crunch time?) or getting whooped (does effort die when you're down 20+?), I imagine NFL coaches do the same.
NFL scouts watch ALL the film of guys they are considering drafting until they determine a draft grade. I saw LT get destroyed and take too many plays off over his career here and that's why I've pushed back so hard on this kid. Does he make great plays? Yes, at times. But making a splash play here or there does not make up for the repeated busted gap protection that leads to first downs and touchdowns so many times. I see plays like the one @OrangeBowlMagic posted and it gets me angry because LT should've played at that level consistently. Instead that play reminds me of the rest of his career.

Reminded me of Marcus Forston career minus the injuries.

"minus the injuries"

That sure says a lot. I'm tired of seeing guys like LT stroll through this program as though WE owe him something, only to have him come up short in the end. I'm certain Cormani is on this same trajectory, but steeper. Stupid Analog Kid. Clearly neither has ever listened to Working Man.

I took his post as defending Taylor based on what he said before this tabasco post.
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt as well as an opportunity to walk that one back before I pounced. I'm pretty anti-LT at this point and I've been down this path before. I might not know how to stack a DB and I definitely can't run a route tree, but I know LOS play. LT is exactly what I said - flash player who takes far too many plays off.

Agreed. Forston would show up at times too but then go missing for a good portion of the game and he was lazy. He basically only played 2 full seasons in 4 years then left with a year of eligibility remaining. I’m sure Golden and Dorito played a part of him leaving too.
