Leonard Myers was a good CB for us although he never quite lived up to his billing coming out of HS. Went to Carol City if I'm not mistaken and was in the 97 recruiting class with Dan Morgan, Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss, Delvin Brown, Markets Fitzgerald and Kenny Kelly. He was known to be very aggressive(He loved to attack the flats) and struggled a bit early on because of that and a lack of elite recovery speed.

My favorite Leonard Myers moment was in 2000. We were on the road in Morgantown playing a WVU squad led by Marc Bulger. We were coming off a bitter road loss to UW and we were a little sluggish coming out of the gate. Myers then lit the fuse by picking off Bulger in the left flat and returning it for six. It was a great play by Meyers as he read the route and jumped it perfectly. That play ignited the team and we went on to route WVU 48-17 I believe.
Incorrect. He went to Dillard

****! Yes of course. Who was the DB in that class from Carol City? Delvin Brown?
Mike Rumph?

Nah bro Rumph is from Delray.

Kid was more athlete than football player. Bit on every double move because he wanted picks instead of reading the routes. Did not live up to the hype.

Kid was pretty much a bust honestly.

not sure what your definition of a bust is.. drafted and spent 3 years in the show. what have you done that makes you such an authority on what is a "bust". long list of players coming out of college that never have the football achievement he does.
