No chance a real offer for $900k was rendered. None. The guy literally takes a greyhound bus to come to town to watch canes games...and he’s turning down almost $1 mil? Not possible.

A real, actionable proposal must not have been made.
I mean it’s not exactly enforceable but it’s still funny. I don’t think the enforceability aspect of it factored into DBC’s decision making here, do you? Lol

Your mind(and everyone at Bartsool's) works like this.
Nickel<Dime<Quarter

Danny's mind works like this.
Dime<Nickel<Quarter

They need to offer him a million dollars or half a million dollars to lock him down.

Only having taken a couple of graduate courses on contract law, I’m not qualified to comment on any actual legal aspects/claims that arise from this. But I will say, that the entity is on the record in social media as offering, so that has to count for something, assuming Danny wanted to follow up.

I think what happened is these guys probably spoke with him and did not make an offer in good faith, that even Danny realized he couldn’t follow through - that there was no real/tenable offer. Because there is no way a sane person that is in his situation, would turn it down.

If this was a B2B actual contract I could comment from experience, but it isn’t, I think it falls into the category of personal contract/civil action. You may want to comment on that, I’m just guessing

In all seriousness, if they made the offer, and he took an action like buying a bus ticket and went there, I think they might be up shît’s creek.

If DBC turned down 900k he's the dumbest ******* on earth! Either that or he better has Jeff Bezos type bread.

Honestly Its funny to say but I'd actually trust Portnoy that this offer is pretty legit, or at least far larger than it has any reason being. I mean even giving DBC $100k is too much lol, but I have zero doubt Portnoy would legit do that.
