Joining Philly, to me, sounds like he wants the best chance at winning another ring, on a team that he can feel like he makes the difference, opposed to joining a squad that has already won without him (NYK). I think he wanted out of the west too.

Miami would have been fun to watch, but I think Philly gives him a better chance at winning this upcoming year.

I assume he considered Cleveland, and maybe the delay/hold up was they were trying to get a deal for Kyrie or AD. Idk though.

I have no idea. I just remember watching the media slurp this guy since he was about 15 years old and with each slurp, his head inflated a little more. The slurping has continued for 20+ years and seem to finally be easing - albeit slightly. I just want this guy to retire already.
 
Surpising. Philly is loaded. If Embiid can somehow stay healthy they are the favorites in the East.

Ummmm, usually I don’t chime in on these things, but this is cap AF.

I’m not sure if social media or LeMedia is frying ppl’s memories, but he quite literally asked for max $$$ from LAL & felt offended they would offer him anything less. He also held a meeting inquiring if they weren’t going to pay him max, what were their plans in building a team for winning?

At this point of his career LeBron is LeCap. He chose Philly b/c they had the best chance to try to get another ring, & he was promised a starting position w other off the books accommodations.

Good post BDD, but I think it was Randy Newman that actually wrote and recorded a a song called “ I Love LA”, but he kinda sounds like Huey Lewis,.. kinda,.. maybe kinda,.. maybe not. Just sayin’
