How does anyone develop such confidence to say that we would boat-race anybody after the season we just had?

We would probably come in sleepwalking.
Diaz would use the game plan he uses for every inferior opponent and Frost would be dancing circles around it.

This would last until about midway through the 3rd quarter when we finally decided to play Miami football.

49-28 Canes
This board is ground zero for Canes chest pumpers. We basically had two fantastic games in VT and ND, and the rest of the time we looked like ***, even in the wins. I guess if you mentally block out the bad, then we will house anyone. So Baghdad Bob it and it's all good.

UCF is 13-0 in D1 football. That should be worth a spot. If a perfect season isn't good enough to earn a spot simply because it's not a Power 5 team and, therefore didn't play a Power 5 schedule, the the NCAA and the CFP Committee need to inform the Group of 5 that they aren't being given equal recognition because they are not on an equal playing field as the P5, and just go ahead and separate the two because the net effect of leaving out UCF is treating the G5 and the P5 like separate divisions anyway.

Please don't tell me you believe this. The hardest teams on their schedule was Memphis and USF. Their toughest match up that was cancelled because of the hurricane was Georgia Tech.

I absolutely believe this. I also happen to believe that they'd get killed by any of the top 4 and Auburn is going to *** rape them in Atlanta. But the fact is that the teams on their schedule are D1 FBS teams, same division as the ones we schedule and play. I don't think it's fair to so obviously treat the G5 like it's not in the same **** division as us, and therefore cannot ever, even with a perfect season, be considered for a spot in the playoff of that division.

They went 13-0 in the top division in college football. They deserve a more respectable *** kicking than the one they're going to get.

Dan is a fun and entertaining host, but his overall sports knowledge has always been severely lacking.

This.....Similar to Chris Fowler being shocked that Badgely missed the 46 yrd FG when those of us who really watch know that he misses a ton of kicks.

A few years ago Lebatard was claiming we had no NFL talent and fans were unrealistic in expecting team to win when we had 10 guys (2nd most in CFB) being invited to the NFL combine.

These guys don't have the same knowledge level and talk out of their *** based upon cliff notes.

Currently listening to some of yall hero on radio. Saying ucf would beat Miami handily. And would run through acc atlantic. He also said Adrian killings Jr is better than anyone we have at rb by far. He states ucf has better athletes..grown men they have lmao. OMG it's bad when Greg cote is caping for us. Dude is shilling for ucf so bad...dude is still doubling down on him being wrong on un

Well this guy tried to kill his alma mater to help skyrocket his career , so I'm not shocked he'd speak negative about them on a national radio show.

Dude is a trash bag with jowls

That's fines if he wants to say that and the way he is saying it......as long as he doesn't magically do a 360
and re attach himself like the parasite he is to UM once we get back.
If we stay in this upward trajectory and start winning big things again I would really hate to see his face in the eventual 30 for 30.

As long as it's true. And it is.

Merely being undefeated shouldn't guarantee a spot, that screws over teams that challenge themselves by going out and playing people worth a ****. If the committee started giving spots to ANY and EVERY team in FBS that finished undefeated, people would be racing to play the most garbage midmajors and FCS teams they possibly could.

Bama is in because Wisconsin lost, and Ohio State got MOLLYWHOPPED by IOWA. IOWA.There's no way Ohio State should have gotten in, and the rest of the top 10 is mediocre at best. Alabama's only loss was to a decent Auburn, and someone had to get in to that last spot. Alabama at least tried to schedule a team worth a **** in FSU, unfortunately they turned out to be pure garbage this year. It's not like Bama didn't have a legit case.
