This is an exciting time to be a fan of the program. We have momentum building. All we need to do now is make the RIGHT hire and this machine will be rolling again. UM is a sleeping giant ready to be awaken and dominate once again.

eff him. he keeps bringing up the picture of the empty stadium but is not mentioning the fact that there was actually a pretty good turn out but people went inside with the downpour. seriously are own media just get frenzied like a bunch of sharks and strum along this stupid anti-miami agenda.

sad there hasn't been a fundraising movement for the last 20years by UM for this.

He was joking. He was calling out Lemonis for being disingenuous and doing this for publicity. They were talking about how that guy has been begging to get on 790 all weekend.

Said guy is only pledging a mill because he wont actually have to pay since the move wont happen so in that case DLB said he would pledge too (to make a point that that guy is full of ****)

Looked like 25K before the downpour, 5K after.

Alonzo Highsmith said he's on board too. That's three. Bout 297 to go.

The stadium would cost approximately 50 to 60 million to build something like what UCF built. That is what I saw posted on here the other day and I don't doubt that is pretty close to accurate.

It is a good thing the school has no organized plan or anything to do something.

They don't need to have one. They are a non-profit so you can actually control the use of the funds. If Lemonis wants, he can get it started and say here is $1 million but it is restricted to be used only to build a stadium. Just like that UM has to leave the funds untouched until it fulfills the restriction. Most non-profits take the principal amount and invest it and use the interest income to do other things. Lemonis could also restrict that to be used on the stadium. The school can easily be pushed into doing it.
